Each year, we carefully monitor the conditions in the truffière in the autumn, watching for signs that the tuber melanosporum mycelium has done its magic and produced the truffle. Here are some photos I took just now- it's looking good! You can see the eruptions of truffle - not too much and not too little; just enough to tell us that (all going well) we have a wonderful truffle season ahead.
