Second Grade truffles come in many sizes, or as truffle pieces, and have usually been broken or cut from larger truffles.
These truffles should be sufficiently mature to have the characteristic aroma of truffles, but may have surface imperfections and damage marks. Second grade truffles are often used in cooking or manufacture of products.
Our grading follows Australian Truffle Growers Association Standard.
