As a natural product grown underground near the roots of our oak trees, there is a wide variation of factors considered when grading a truffle.
Prior to grading, harvested Truffles are thoroughly washed, dried, weighed and checked for defects. The truffles are then inspected and weighed. When grading a truffle, we pay attention to four key areas:
1. Condition 2. Fragrance 3. Marbling and 4. Texture
